what is klife
KLIFE is a community wide interdenominational Christian ministry centered in Frisco, Texas. KLIFE works alongside churches, schools, and families to teach and encourage kids to be strong in the Lord in spite of all the worldly pressures they face as teenagers.
The heartbeat of KLIFE is discipleship. We get to a place of authentic discipleship by emphasizing our small group ministry. Kids can join small groups that meet weekly or bi-weekly with a KLIFE staff or volunteer leader to learn more about God and how to develop an abiding relationship with Him. These groups allow for spiritual growth, development of peer relationships that encourage accountability, and individual growth and support.
In addition to our small group strategy are the more visible components of our ministry: bi-weekly Klub meetings, activities, events and retreats. Klub consist of songs, games, skits, and talks that contain a lesson with a relevant life application from the Bible. Our theme this past year for North Dallas KLIFE was the “Explicit Gospel.” Belief drives behavior. We as Christians should be embracing Christ’s words of “It is finished” (John 19:30) daily by reminding ourselves of this incredible good news that it is by grace through faith that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9)!
We seek to encourage and equip our students to love and embrace an abiding relationship with Jesus, which leads to an abundant life both now and eternally (John 10:10).

Meet the Staff
Arch mcintosh • Chapter director
Arch McIntosh attended Texas Christian University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Studies, with minors in business and studio art. After working as a regional sales director for Compass Group, he attended the Kanakuk Institute- a yearlong masters level leadership and discipleship program where he served as a KLIFE volunteer. Arch has also worked on the leadership team with Kanakuk Kamps in the traveling ministry called Kamp Out. He is passionate about football, art and music. In Arch’s free time he enjoys writing songs, reading and painting. Above all, Arch is compelled and commissioned to share the gospel message that saved his own life. His greatest joy is watching students discover their identity in Christ!
JESSICA COATS • women's director
Jessica Coats attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Energy Management, with minors in Finance and Non-Profit Organization. She then went on to the Sky Ranch Legacy Fellowship- a year long leadership program. After this, she moved to Dallas, TX where she worked for Watermark Community Church as their Family Ministry Assistant. She then stepped into Watermark’s Institute as a Fellow- a ten-month long deep dive into the Word of God, theology, church leadership, and hands on experience. You can easily find Jessica exploring a place she’s never been, being outside, playing sports or enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend.
Want to get involved with KLIFE?!
KLIFE’s goal is to disciple, mentor, encourage, and support the teenagers in North Dallas. One of the major ways we accomplish that is through college students and young professionals who volunteer their time to pour into the kids. There are three ways that we invest in kids; club, small group, and one-on-one.
Understand our Volunteer Application Process:
- Step 1: Meet with one of our full time paid Staff members to discuss areas of involvement, ask any questions, and begin the process of being a volunteer.
- Step 2: Fill out the 5 page Volunteer Application HERE.
- Step 3: City, county, state and federal background checks are run and all references are called and questioned.
- Step 4: Personal interview with one of our full time paid Staff members.
- Step 5: Attend our monthly Volunteer training meetings.
KLIFE Ministries has zero tolerance for abuse. We take abuse seriously and do prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. To ensure the safety of the kids involved, completion of the application process is mandatory in our screening process. Interactions with youth will be monitored and a code of conduct must be signed and adhered to.
The heart of our ministry is small groups. Each small group is led by one or two KLIFE volunteers who have a heart for ministry and working with kids. Each volunteer has been through an interview process with a staff member, has received a background check, and has signed a commitment to follow Christ in their own life. Last year our leaders spent over 14,000 hours with their small group kids!
Small group times will be determined by the leader of the group based on when everyone is able to meet. The groups are assembled according first to gender, then by groups of friends. Our hope is to bring groups of kids together to build accountability and Christ-centered relationships.

LIVE is a digital curriculum that gets kids into the Bible and the Bible into kids. LIVE crafted lessons are easily understood, with principles that our leaders can grasp and pass along to students. Plus, the lessons emphasize discussion, dialogue, and meaningful connections among the group. This allows leaders and students to just enjoy spending time with one another and each will thrive with this curriculum.
Each KLIFE Small Group may use the interactive LIVE Curriculum to help each group be effective and focused. Your KLIFE Staff Director will set you and your group up into the system.
