JEFF MADISON // CHAPTER DIRECTOR

Jeff Madison grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications. He served in his local church and his campus ministry, StuMo, where his heart for discipleship took off. Jeff spent his college summers working at Kanakuk Kamps and attended the Kanakuk Institute upon graduation. He has since worked with youth at Kanakuk’s gap year program called Link Year. Along with discipleship, Jeff enjoys playing music, going on adventures, and cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats!

LAUREN MURPHY // WOMENS DIRECTOR

Lauren Murphy was born and raised in Indianapolis before attending Taylor University, where she she studied Strategic Communication with minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. While in college, Lauren played on the women’s golf team, led small groups, and ate as many Chick-fil-A sandwiches as her meal plan allowed. After spending summers in college on staff at Kanakuk K-1 and a year at the Kanakuk Institute, Lauren is passionate about proclaiming biblical Truth to make and motivate disciples. Lauren loves to travel, try new things, spend time outside with friends, and can’t wait to develop a southern draw during her time in North Dallas!

LIZ MACKENNA // WOMENS DIRECTOR

Liz McKenna is from St. Louis, Missouri and attended Murray State Univeristy in the great state of Kentucky. She studied Non-Profit Leadership and Management with a minor of Graphic Communications. Kanakuk K-2 summer camp in has been her home each summer for the last six years. After college, she attended the Kanakuk Institute for a year in Branson, Missouri. Liz is passionate about creating fun atmospheres to develop intentional relationships for discipleship. She is always trying out a new hobby and filling her time decorating for the next celebration!
